I appologize for being a day late with my post this week. I rode for so long yesterday that my butt was numb and my brain was dead at 11:00 pm. I have been watching this past week to see where the Lord was working. We went back to our home county for a couple of days over the weekend. We spent some wonderful time with Bob and Angie where we picked up my new baby, Pearl. (Soon Sonja will post pics of Pearl.) Then, we traveled to Commerce to spend more time with Bob and Angie along with Herman and Susan. Sonja called them HBW Royalty. I call them great friends and mentors. I am blessed to have these four people in my life.
We then rode to Sonja's parent's place where we slept. Then, Saturday began with RAIN. After rescheduling our time to go visit my dad in the Nursing Home, we went to the CBC reunion. I had a good time hearing how God was working in the lives of those to whom we once ministered. I also had some good time with my former pastor, who has had a rough road of ministry also. (I am convinced that one day ALL those people who in Jesus Name, serve the devil will give more than an account. More on this at a later date.) Then we caged up and rode down to see my dad. He didn't recognize me but it was great to see him and tell him I loved him. He did say, "Yea" when I told him. That was cool to me. Then we went to see Somja's grandpa and spent family time with the "in-laws". Sunday began with Angela feeling bad and a long trip ahead of us. As we continued down the road, I kept thinking, "God is so Awesome." He created all that is and gave me the opportunity to enjoy it. WOW!
As the week went along, the emotions are more under control. I am always amazed at the hand of God and how He works. I will never understand why everyone can't see through the darkness to see the Wonderful Light of God in Jesus Christ. We were asked, "Are you going to find another church? The answer is, "No!" If God has one for us, we will follow Him. If not, we will follow Him. Throughout our days, we have the opportunity to touch people. As I continue to grow comfortable in Who I am, Where I am, and Why I am, I am constantly reminded Whose I am. He bought me for a price I couldn't pay. He also blesses more than I deserve. My prayer for each of us this week is that God will continue to reveal Himself and His plan to use us!
I hope these ramblings reveal how thankful I am for all Christ has done and continues to do for me and my family. Praise be to God Who gives us the victory in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Till next week, Ride safe and Seek The kingdom of God in your life!
