Where will the road you're on take you? We have all found ourselves on the wrong road before. It may have been because we listened to bad directions or didn't pay attention to the signs. In any case, we have a tendency to keep going further hoping that we will still reach our destination in spite of our wrong course. It never works out, though, because the wrong road will never get you to the right place. And so it is with life. Many people live with an inward emptiness, aware that they are traveling down the wrong road. The road they are on may even have beautiful scenery here and there, but deep down they know that it is leading them nowhere. Still, they persist on going just a little further, hoping it will eventually work out. IT WON'T! If this is the road you're on...This may be your destination! The Bible says, "There is a way that seems right to man, but in the end it leads to death." The Good News is that there is another road, a narrow road, that leads to eternal life. I'm not talking about another empty religion, but a real, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Jesus has rescued kings and beggars, politicians and prostitutes, dignitaries and drug dealers, and yes, even us bikers.........AND THIS IS HOW: ADMIT-- admit that you are a sinner. Romans 6:23 says that all have sinned. Romans 3:23 says that the price for sin is death BELIEVE-- believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, that he died on the cross for your sin, and that God the Father raised him from the dead. COMMIT-- commit your life to God by turning your back on sin and turning your face to Him. Invite Jesus to come into your heart and save you. Commit yourself to live the rest of your life for Him as He lovingly shows you how, one step at a time. Why not ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life and give you a new start, on a new road, with a new destination right now? Pray a prayer like this one: Dear God, I admit that I am a sinner, and I need a Savior Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of God I know that you died for me and rose again please forgive me, wash me and make me new. Put me on the road that leads to eternal life. I invite You, Jesus, to come into my heart and save me. I commit my life to You.Thank you for saving me. Amen.
If you prayed this prayer and meant it with all of your heart then you have now joined millions of others around the world on the narrow road to eternal life with Jesus as your Road Captain. The first thing you need to do now is to find another Christian and tell them. If you don't know any Christians, e-mail us and tell us.
